I joined Dals in March this year, and I can honestly say that the entire process, from my initial contact regarding opportunities with Dals through recruitment and onboarding, was extremely friendly, efficient and professional (Teodora - Linguist Recruiter). Within days of completing the process, I had already started receiving face-to-face assignments. I also undertake interpreting work for other companies operating in the same sector, but I have found there is a noticeable difference with Dals. The process is straightforward and easy to use, with the relevant apps and tools conveniently available in one place. Most importantly for me, once an assignment has been accepted and confirmed, I receive a simple and friendly reminder email for that particular booking. I have not experienced persistent phone calls asking whether I am aware of an upcoming assignment. All the relevant information is clearly provided on the job sheet, which makes preparing for assignments much easier. In most cases, where arrangements have been planned appropriately, parking is also straightforward, with nearby options often available free of charge, apart from certain locations such as hospitals. It becomes even easier when returning to a location where I have previously completed an assignment, as I already know the arrangements for parking, attendance departments and other practical considerations. Hospitals in particular can be extremely busy, so having this information in advance can make a significant difference. Once an assignment is completed, the Dals app makes submitting the job sheet very straightforward, without the need for unnecessary phone calls or email queries. Payments have consistently been made on time, and I have personally never had to query an assignment where I have stayed beyond the originally booked time because the professional required additional interpreting support. In those circumstances, payment for the additional time has always been processed correctly. For these reasons, I am very happy to accept Dals assignments when compared with other opportunities I receive."
